Treasure from the Lord

The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.
Proverbs 18:22 NLT

This proverb is a beautiful and encouraging statement about the value of marriage. It tells us that a good wife is a treasure, and that finding her is a sign of God's favor.

There are many reasons why a good wife is a treasure. She is a companion, a helpmeet, and a mother. She is someone to share our lives with, to laugh with, to cry with, and to grow old with. She is someone to support us in our dreams, to challenge us to be better, and to love us unconditionally.

A good wife is also a sign of God's favor. When we find a good wife, it is a reminder that God loves us and wants us to be happy. He has blessed us with this special person to share our lives with.

Of course, not all marriages are perfect. There will be times of difficulty and challenges. But if we are committed to our marriage and to each other, we can overcome anything.

If you are a single man, I encourage you to pray for God to bless you with a good wife. And if you are already married, I encourage you to cherish your wife and to thank God for the treasure that she is.

Here are some of the specific ways in which a good wife can bring favor from the Lord to her husband:

• She can pray for him and encourage him in his walk with God.

• She can be a positive influence in his life, helping him to live a godly and moral life.

• She can be a wise counselor, helping him to make good decisions.

• She can be a supportive partner, helping him to achieve his goals.

• She can be a loving and faithful wife, bringing him joy and happiness.

Of course, no wife is perfect. But a good wife will strive to be all of these things for her husband. And when she does, she brings great favor from the Lord into his life.

If you are a man who is looking for a wife, I encourage you to seek a woman who is godly, wise, and supportive. She will be a treasure to you, and she will bring you great favor from the Lord.

In summary:

• A good wife is a treasure.

• She is a companion, a helpmeet, and a mother.

• She brings favor from the Lord to her husband.

• She can pray for him, encourage him, and be a positive influence in his life.

• She can be a wise counselor, helping him to make good decisions.

• She can be a supportive partner, helping him to achieve his goals.
